Text to Speech with Natural AI Voices

Text to speech with natural AI voices. Paste your writing or upload a text file, choose a voice and generate narration to listen to or download as MP3 or WAV.

Text to speech turns writing into spoken narration using an available AI voice. Paste a script or upload a text file, select a voice and generate audio that you can listen to or download as WAV or MP3. Text to speech is useful for reviewing a draft aloud, creating a presentation voiceover or preparing a listening version of your own notes. Sign-in and sufficient paid credits are required, and you should check the generated pronunciation before sharing.

How text to speech works here

Prepare the words in the text editor or use the File tab for TXT, Markdown or PDF input. Text to speech uses the selected voice to narrate the submitted text. Read the script once before generating: duplicated headings, unfinished sentences and unexplained abbreviations can sound more distracting aloud than they look on the page. Save the original wording separately when preparing an adapted version. The text editor accepts up to 10,000 characters, so plan longer writing as manageable sections.

Choose a voice for your script

The text to speech voice picker lets you choose from the available catalog. Use its language and voice information to narrow the choices, then generate a representative passage and listen to the actual output. The quick browser preview is not a guarantee of the generated AI voice’s exact delivery. A calm explanation and an energetic introduction may need different pacing in the script itself. Punctuation and sentence length can help make narration easier to follow, but pronunciation and expression still need human review.

Download MP3 or WAV

Text to speech results provide audio controls and WAV downloads. The MP3 download button converts a generated WAV part in your browser before saving the MP3. Longer results can have several parts, each with its own controls and downloads. Keep their order clear when saving them. WAV is useful for an editing step, while MP3 is convenient for a listening copy. Play the actual downloaded files and check the beginning and ending of each part before assembling or distributing the narration.

Text to speech: four steps

  1. Prepare your writing

Use text you have permission to process. Remove editing notes and repeated material, and check names and abbreviations that may be unfamiliar when heard aloud. Keep a source copy.

  2. Choose input and voice

Paste the prepared script or select a supported local file in the File tab. Choose an available voice and check that the submitted material covers the section you intend to narrate.

  3. Generate and listen

Sign in and use your available paid credits to generate narration. Listen to a representative passage and compare the actual audio with the text, especially around specialist vocabulary and numbers.

  4. Save the audio parts

Download WAV or request MP3 conversion for each result part. Keep the parts in sequence and verify their openings and endings before using the narration in another application.

Prepare a reliable result

Generated narration should be checked as audio rather than judged only from the written script. Listen for unusual pauses, missing endings and unfamiliar names. A document can be grammatically correct yet sound confusing when spoken without its layout. AI speech sends text for processing; a local file selection does not make the generation itself local. See the privacy page for data handling, and retain the original writing so you can compare the completed listening copy with its source.
